Electric guitar tube amplifier bootlegger guitar Hounder Vintage Cherry Burst Gloss

The Hounder is a modern take on a classic blues guitar design. The single cutaway elongated body is a salute to the 1964 Kawai SRT model played by famous bluesman Hound Dog Taylor, and it’s sound is unapologetic. This is the latest incarnation of what a blues guitar should be.

Fitted with two P90 soap bar pickups, the Hounder’s tone wails with clarity while retaining the power from it’s midrange. A single three-way toggle switch allows for a variety of tonal options.

Resting alongside it atop the black “gunslinger” pick guard are two volume knobs and two tone knobs, each responsible for a particular pickup. Its 43mm mahogany body allows you to get up close and personal with the instrument, until it essentially becomes a part of you. The Roller Nut bridge and BL tailpiece keep the instrument perfectly intonated. If you’re the type of player that really digs into each note the C shape Canadian Maple neck gives you the capability of demanding emotion from your riffs. The low action and refined fret width make it incredibly playable.

Because of its attitude the Hounder will give you that edge your playing needs. Its sound is meant for those addicted to the open road, those who rise above the noise, and those that walk the line between blues crooner and pure rebel. This guitar howls at the moon. If you’re gonna howl, may as well sound like a hound.

Electric guitar tube amplifier bootlegger guitar Rye Vintage Clear Burst Gloss

The reason we call it the Rye is because it emulates the brash flavor of the whiskey. It’s sound is full, pure, and will leave you with a solid buzz after you hear it. This guitar is found in the mom and pop shops, the garages, and the hands of those who seek an identity all their own.

The smaller body is shaped to emulate the Stratotone H45, a design from the Harmony Guitars namesake then later, Silvertone. The shape continues because people dig it, which is why we put our own spin on it. The finish is a Vintage Violin Burst Gloss with a traditional off-white pick guard.

This 55mm Maple and Mahogany body is equipped with two Ivory soap bar P-90’s. The Tune-OMatic bridge is attached to our vintage style tailpiece. Two volume knobs and two control knobs rest alongside the three-way toggle switch.

The neck is C shaped Canadian Maple, with a Rosewood fingerboard. Included is the Bootlegger original 43mm graphite nut. Complete with 20 frets and a fret space of 2.7mm, it gives you the room to move any way you please.

Whether you play with clean or overdriven tone, the Rye sparkles with brightness and an unmistakeable Bootlegger sound. It goes down smooth but packs some serious bite. The Rye is the maverick; no excess and certainly no bull. It delivers a gritty sensibility and hard edge to it’s performance. This guitar is for the bold and brazen; those who like their sound 98 proof.

Electric guitar tube amplifier bootlegger guitar Single Barrel Vintage Clear Violin

The Single Barrel is a toast to tradition. It comes from a proud lineage of guitars made to produce a premium sound. This guitar will handle it all with ease; Country, Blues, Rock… whatever you need, the Single Barrel provides.

Cast from the same mold as the ‘40s Stella hollow body guitar, the Single Barrel is an ideal balance of attack and resonance. It comes complete with our unique top radius at the neck and single F-hole carved into the semi-hollow body.

The body is our Single Barrel Standard shape made from mahogany; 43mm weighing 7.7 pounds. It comes in Vintage Violin Gloss or Matte and Cherry Sunburst. Armed with one P-90 Ivory soap bar and an Alcino magnet single coil pickup; the Single Barrel tone goes from glassy to twangy to roadhouse dirt. This guitar can burn just as bad as a shot of moonshine. The string-through-body bridge is equipped with a matching steel plate similar to the telecaster.

Next to the three-way toggle switch sit the steel volume and control knobs. The neck is C shaped and fitted with our Bootlegger graphite nut. The unfinished Canadian Maple and 22-fret length maple fretboard is ready to feel the burn from your fastest licks.

We believe in taking something of strong heritage and improving on it. The Single Barrel is a nod to the past and now redefined for the contemporary guitar player. It’s an instrument that has withstood the test of time because of how exceptional it sounds. You could say it’s aged to perfection.
