When it comes to shedding the pretense of what a bluesman is supposed to look and sound like, the Spade breaks down all barriers. This headless twang-machine breaks the mold and sneers at the conventional; daring to reinvent blues and rock in a compact shape.
The 42mm Basswood body is equipped with two vintage ’59 Covered Alinco Magnetic Humbuckers. The HL bridge is a Jack Standard LP type, and gives the guitar an efficient tuning system. The controls are set with a volume and tone knob, and a pick-up selector toggle switch. The tone knob on the Spade doubles as a push-pull to give it an extra boost. Phase Switch for quick Tone - ness.
The neck is a round C shape made from a 3 piece Canadian Maple, with a Rosewood fingerboard. The Spade has its own custom Machine Head HL head cover. The inlay on the neck is a dotted design, made from 5mm Pearl. Complete with 23 frets and a finger board scale of 25.5”; the Spade comes in a Black, White, Cherry Red, or Clear finish.
