The Blood Vein takes its name from the blood-vein moth, native to England and Wales. A speckled, beige-winged creature, the moth is known for a distinctive red line that cuts cleanly through both wings when laid flat—a pattern seen in no other species.
That subtle, captivating line has now been translated onto the Absinthe Suissesse. Preserving the original speckling while shifting the base color from beige to pink, Sera Fae draws on the blood-vein moth's markings to subvert the classic pink guitar. Rather than a singular spray-painted finish, the Blood Vein is entirely hand-painted: pink, speckled, accented with taupe, and outlined in soft red, before being cut through at the end by its own blood vein.
The result is a guitar as distinct and singular as the moth that inspired it.
